Thee Toledo Reign returns home this weekend as we renew our rivalry with our neighbors to the north, the Detroit Dark Angels.
The Reign (0-2) are returning home after a tough 14-6 loss against the Keystone Assault in Pennsylvania last weekend. Reign Captain #25 Brianna "Bugg" Patman led the offense with 92 yards rushing while defensively, #43 Octavia "Tae" Griswold led the charge with 8 1/2 tackles (2 for loss). Reign quarterback #5 Angie Hubbard recorded her first career touchdown, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to secure the win. The Reign will look to right the ship against the Detroit Dark Angels.
The Dark Angels (1-1) will be traveling to Toledo for the first time since 2012, renewing the border rivalry that started in 2010. The Dark Angels are coming off a 30-12 loss to the West Michigan Mayhem on April 9th in Kalamazoo.
Kickoff at Don Paul Stadium in Fremont, Ohio is at 7pm this Saturday. Tickets are $6 at the gate with kids 5 and under free! This will be your last opportunity to catch the Reign in Fremont during the 2016 season so be sure to come on out and support YOUR women's full-contact tackle football team!
